Entering the addictive world of couponing...

Wow, I never realized that there is a whole world of obsessed couponing moms out there. It's really pretty fascinating. Now that I am trying to save money for more fun things instead of blowing it all on groceries and household items, I thought I'd give couponing a try. It is already more exciting than walking out of Target with a great deal. This takes planning and careful mapping out of online, newspaper, and email based coupons. There are hundreds of blogs for every grocery store and we are lucky that Publix is one of the popular ones. They have great deals and we have already been able to cut of grocery budget significantly. If you haven't thought about giving this couponing thing a try, I would recommend it. Check out iheartpublix.com...it's my favorite resource so far.

Welcome to my blog

So I decided that I should document all of the neat projects I am working on and the exciting things happening in my life as I learn to be a parent. My husband and I have 1 little girl who is 9 months old. I am a mechanical engineer at a big corporation and my husband is currently staying home with our daughter. We are a breastfeeding/pumping at work, cloth diapering, baby wearing, sometimes co-sleeping, and working on attachment parenting family. I realized that the more I met mothers in our city and on the web, the more of an oddity I have become. I think working moms need a voice and I hope this blog will capture some of the daily struggles working moms endure and will highlight some of the triumphs as well.
